How Their Story Began
On the first day of her new job, Abby had lunch with the sales department she worked in, and that’s when she met Chad and knew she had to get to know him more. It was love at first sight!

Abby & Chad became very good friends over the course of a year and then started dating. Chad told her that he loved her within the first week of them dating.

The Proposal
Over the 4th of July weekend they were up at their friend’s cabin, and Chad’s best friend and her family were also along for the celebrations. Chad asked his friends to help him find a way for Abby to get dressed up. His friend’s just bought a house and he said that they needed to take pictures to fill their walls (this was their plan for them to get dressed up). Abby took pictures of their family, and then she handed the camera back over to Emily (Chad’s friend), and he was down on one knee. Abby thought Chad was just tying his shoe, so she was very surprised when she learned that Chad was actually asking her to marry him.

With very little service at the cabin, it was a challenge for them to call their families to share the good news, but they found one spot that worked and told them that they were now engaged.

The Wedding
Abby & Chad will be holding their beautiful outdoor ceremony at Riverdale Manor in Lancaster, PA on August 28th, 2021. They are so excited to see each other for the first time on their special day and to celebrate their love with all of their friends and family members. Oh, we just can’t wait either!
