Sunshine, Happy Tears & Sparkler Magic
Keli + Ryan’s Spring Valley Farms Wedding | May 10, 2025
There are wedding days that simply feel kissed by heaven, and Keli & Ryan’s May celebration at Spring Valley Farms in Dover, Pennsylvania, was one of them. Picture warm golden light, a gentle country breeze, and 135 acres of rolling farmland wrapped around a tranquil pond—it was the kind of setting love stories dream about.
A Venue Made for Romance
Nestled among towering trees, weeping willows, and a classic two-level barn, Spring Valley Farms offers endless photo backdrops—from the vintage swing beside the pond to the wide-open fields that go blush at sunset. It’s rustic charm with just the right dash of elegance, and it fit Keli & Ryan to a T.
Morning Moments & Private Vows
Keli slipped into her gown inside the cozy farmhouse while Ryan suited up in the barn’s loft. Before guests arrived, they met in the farmhouse (without seeing each other) for private vows—a quiet pocket of the day that left every vendor (me included!) misty-eyed. If you’re planning your own wedding, consider carving out this sacred “just us” time; it calms the nerves and sets the tone for everything that follows.
Pond-Side “I Do’s”
With their favorite people gathered on the lawn, Keli & Ryan exchanged rings beside the sparkling water. Laughter mingled with birdsong, the breeze caught Keli’s veil, and when the officiant pronounced them husband and wife, cheers echoed across the farm.
Golden Hour & BBQ Feasts
Mission BBQ filled the barn with the smell of slow-smoked goodness (yes, we all went back for seconds!). As plates cleared, we snuck out for golden hour portraits. The light draped over the fields like honey, and these two soaked it up. Those images are the reason I live for sunset sessions.
Dancing, Dessert & a Sparkler Send-Off
Inside the barn, twinkle lights and heartfelt toasts kicked off a dance floor that never emptied. When the last song faded, guests lined the walkway, sparklers in hand, and Keli & Ryan dashed through a tunnel of light—one more burst of magic before riding off into forever.

- Schedule private vows. Ten minutes alone changes everything.
- Block off 20–30 minutes before sunset. That creamy light is pure magic on camera.
- Feed your guests well. Happy bellies = packed dance floor.
- End with intention. Whether it’s sparklers, bubbles, or fireworks, a planned exit gives you album-worthy finale photos.
