How Their Story Began
Nikki & Lucas met almost three years ago while he was coaching her daughter’s track team. One day Lucas reached out to Nikki to see how her daughter was doing in Cross Country. Soon they hit it off and became the best of friends.

Together Nikki & Lucas have the most beautiful blended family; 7 very blessed kiddos to call them Mom and Dad.

The Proposal
Together they enjoy hiking, and they have a special spot in the mountains of West Virginia called The Devil’s Nose. They were looking for this spot on their first date and Lucas googled ‘Devil’s Nose’ and the search results said that it was about 2 hours from their house. They got lost and ended up in Cumberland, MD, the opposite direction of where they were supposed to go. They went to Swallow Falls State Park and loved it. This was where Lucas proposed to Nikki.

On part of the hike to the falls, there is a massive rock that has pine trees growing out of it. This ensued a conversation about how the pine tree growing on a rock is resilient, and they decided that’s just like them.

Although they finally did make it to The Devil’s Nose, close to their hometown, we think Swallow Falls will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

The Wedding
Nikki & Lucas will be getting married at Heritage Restored in Newburg, PA on October 23rd, 2021. They are really looking forward to their entire day and their family officially becoming one.
