How Their Story Began
Morgan & Nick actually met in high school at their local airport. She was taking flying lessons and Nick was working at the airport to save up for lessons. She couldn’t drive yet so while her mom was waiting for her she was talking with Nick. After her lesson was over, her mom informed her that she had met a “cute boy that knew her from school…”
They started dating in August of 2012. Morgan says they have a grown a lot together since then and that it has been great. Morgan just graduated from Clemson University while Nick is a medic in the army. They have spent a lot of time away from each other during the last 5 years and are so excited for the future.
Morgan and Nick both love hunting, shooting, powerlifting, walking their family’s pups, going to the beach, and lots more!
Their story makes Morgan laugh every time she thinks about it. She had just returned home from 7 weeks of army training for ROTC. They do a family vacation to Sea Isle City for 2 weeks every summer. She got home during the middle of vacation and Nick brought her down to the beach from the airport. The next day he was acting so funny and suspicious, so she was definitely onto him. He and Morgan’s dad kept looking at each other and laughing and wouldn’t tell her why. Nick had this whole plan in his head to go down to the beach and propose, but he got so nervous and excited that he did in that night in the living room of their beach house while they were all sitting around watching TV! Morgan’s parents were there, their best friend, her sister, and her niece. Morgan says that it’s a funny memory they share because it just explains who Nick is.
The awesome couple will be getting married on October 5th, 2019 at The Barn at Silverstone in Lancaster, PA. Morgan is excited to walk down the aisle and to see how much fun all of their guests are having. They’re also super excited about all the yummy food they’ll be serving.
